Kerry-Lynne Findlay is one of the most experienced political figures in the 2026 race. A lawyer by trade and a King’s Counsel (KC), she served as the Member of Parliament for South Surrey—White Rock (and previously Delta—Richmond East) for nearly a decade. During the Stephen Harper era, she held high-level federal cabinet positions, including Minister of National Revenue and Associate Minister of National Defence. Most recently, she served as the Chief Opposition Whip under Pierre Poilievre. Findlay is a lifelong British Columbian, born in Ladysmith, and is married to current BC Conservative MLA Brent Chapman.
